The camera incorporates an 80 × 60 thermal sensor and FLIR MSX® technology, which overlays key visual details from the integrated visible-light camera onto the thermal image. This provides enhanced image clarity and makes it easier to identify components, faults, and inspection targets during troubleshooting activities.

FLIR VividIR™ image processing further enhances image quality, helping users detect hidden problems such as overheating electrical connections, insulation defects, air leaks, moisture intrusion, mechanical wear, and HVAC performance issues.
