High-definition MWIR science-grade thermal imaging camera featuring a cooled InSb detector, 1280 × 1024 resolution, and radiometric thermal measurement capabilities for advanced research, high-speed testing, and scientific analysis applications.

DESCRIPTION:

The FLIR X8582 InSb is a high-performance science-grade thermal imaging camera designed for researchers, engineers, and advanced testing laboratories requiring precise thermal measurements and high-definition infrared imaging. Utilizing a cooled Indium Antimonide (InSb) detector operating in the 1.5 µm to 5.0 µm spectral range, the camera delivers exceptional thermal sensitivity and measurement accuracy for demanding scientific and industrial applications.

With a 1280 × 1024 detector resolution and frame rates up to 181 Hz at full resolution, the X8582 is ideal for capturing rapid thermal events, transient phenomena, electronics testing, materials research, non-destructive testing, aerospace development, battery research, and high-speed thermal analysis.

The camera incorporates a cooled InSb focal plane array with typical thermal sensitivity of less than 30 mK, allowing detection of extremely small temperature differences. Advanced synchronization, triggering, and recording capabilities support integration into automated test environments and complex research workflows.

Designed for professional laboratory and R&D environments, the X8582 supports radiometric image streaming, on-camera recording, high-speed data transfer, and compatibility with FLIR Research Studio software for thermal data acquisition and analysis.
