DESCRIPTION:

The Bird BNA1000-1F5 Fixture Circuit Simulation Function is an advanced software option for the Bird BNA1000 Series Vector Network Analyzer platform. The option provides fixture modelling, fixture circuit simulation, and de-embedding functionality to improve measurement accuracy when testing devices through test fixtures, adapters, interconnects, and other measurement interfaces.

In many RF and microwave measurement environments, the test fixture itself can influence measurement results. The BNA1000-1F5 option enables engineers to compensate for these effects by modelling and mathematically removing fixture characteristics from measurement data, allowing more accurate characterization of the actual Device Under Test (DUT). This is particularly valuable during component development, validation testing, manufacturing verification, and quality assurance applications.
